Markets in Sydney

Sydney markets are recognized as leaders in fresh produce and community market management. Some of the community markets are:

« Sydney's Paddy's Markets
This market has it all, fresh vegetables, clothes, CDs, jewellry, and is one of the most famous traditional venue for visitors. Has two locations: Haymarket and Flemington.

« Bondi Beach Market
Is located at North end of Campbell Parade in the grounds of the Bondi Beach Public School. Only held in Sundays, and there are everything you may be looking for, clothes, Jewellry, Leather Goods, Gifts, Books and much more.

« Opera House Market
Is located in front of the Sydney Opera House, has a really beautiful and complete view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It's close to the water of Circular Quay, easy to reach in any bus service, the market is open every Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00.

« The Rocks Market
This market is at the center of The Rocks, is open every weekend between 10:00 and 17:00, if you want to buy some craft, books, jewellery and typical art you may visit this market. In all there are something like 150 stalls.

Shopping in Sydney

« The Queen Victoria Building
Is a four levels building full of fashion boutiques, women and men, is one of the most beautiful shopping centers in Sydney and is open from Monday to Saturday between 9am to 6pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

« The Strand Arcade
This building was almost destroyed by fire in 1976, but now hosts many boutiques and fashion salons, is a very big building, extends from the middle of Pitt Street mall through to George Street, a block towards Circular Quay from the QVB.

« Grace Brothers
Has seven levels and a lot of cosmetic stores, maybe the bigger cosmetic centre in all Australia, and also has computer suppliers and the latest appliances on computer equipment. Situated on the corner of Market and George Streets.
