Arrival to Brisbane

Brisbane Airport is 20 kilometres east of the city centre at Eagle Farm and is the largest airport in Australia. There are domestic and international flights, the main airlines companies are: Qantas, Virgin Blue and JetStar. Brisbane is connected by air with the major important cities in Asia, the USA ans New Zealand. From North America, it's possible to fly direct from Los Angeles to Brisbane on Qantas, but from other places you will likely fly to Sydney and connect on Qantas, or fly direct from Auckland, New Zealand. The Airtrain offers transport service between the Domestic and International terminals, outside AirTrain you can take a taxi.

By Car

If you come form the south you can reach Brisbane by the Pacific Highway, if you come from the north the Bruce Highway is the best option, this highway connects the northern coast of Queensland to Brisbane.

By bus the Premier Motor Service connects Brisbane and Melbourne, as well as some centres on the east coast of Queensland. For the rest of locations to Brisbane you can take the Greyhound Australia.

By Train

Queensland Rail operates several long-distance trains to Brisbane from Cairns and from most centres in Queensland.

Countrylink operates daily rail services to Brisbane from Sydney.

All trains pull into the Brisbane Transit Centre at Roma Street, the train station has restaurants, tourist information, showers and lockers.
