Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery

This Museum hosts a magnificent collection of coins. Also offers to visitors an impressive stuffed version of Tasmanian Devils and the extinct Tasmanian Tiger.







Franklin Square

The main characteristic of this square is the Statue at the entrance of Sir John Franklin, in Macquarie Street. Is also a beautiful public garden.





Tasmanian Maritime Museum

Located in the corner of Argyle and Davey Streets, on Secheron Road occupies Secheron House and was built in 1831 for George Frankland. Hosts a unique collection of Tasmanian nautical artefacts.








Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens

Is located about fifteen minutes walk from the city centre, the main attractions are the fern house, the rose garden, the native Australian plants, and the observatory in the grounds.
