Government buildings



Government House
The original building was constructed in the 19th century, unfortunately it was destroyed by fire in 1841, now this building is the
official residence of the governor of South Australia and is not open to public.

Parliament House
The Parliament House was finished in the 20th century but the construction begun in 1889, its ten columns and the facade made of this
one of the most visited attractions in North Terrace. It's open to public with guided tours for 60 days in a year.

Lion Arts Centre
Here takes place the famous Fringe festival, The Lion Theatre is open along the year and offers music and theater performances,
has a capacity of 250 people maximun and can be used as a cabaret space also.
